I just read a little bit about about some fella from Sun criticizing HP and getting a letter from HP telling him to stop. It all went back to both companies running Unix. Sun was saying that they can't beleive HP was actually looking to Linux and losing control over their operating system. Now I am not some rich executive with huge level of experience in business, but I think Sun is missing the point of having "control" over their operating system. The fact of the matter is, that if you customer wants it, you should provide it. Linux is hip right now and customers are going up to companies saying they want Linux. So should HP tell them they don't offer Linux because they can't control the OS? No. Sun becomes that much closer to end. So very sad :(
